hi! i’m nina.

i’m a full-time student at the university of pennsylvania weitzman school of design. i study city planning - specifically, how we can leverage community engagement to make planning a more participatory, equitable process with just outcomes. i will be graduating in may of 2026.

before graduate school, i worked for five years. i have taught english in france, worked on affordable housing policy in jersey city, and most recently, was a government success manager for a govtech company based in belgium. i am also a former new jersey community organizer of the housing, land use, and racial justice variety.

my professional philosophy is informed by racial justice, social justice, inclusive democracy, open governance, and community-led change. i am passionate about Good Planning - planning that puts people first. whether it’s through housing, community engagement, or comprehensive plans, i want to ensure equity and empathy are at the root of what i do.
